• The VFL312 digital video flash light is a combo unit which combines the feature of video light and flash light in a single compact unit, thereby making
  it a universal video flash light suitable for usage on both digital camcorders as well as digital cameras.
• The VFL312 can be mounted directly on the
  hotshoe of digital video, DVD and Harddisk camcorder for extra constant light illumination by switching to the Lamp mode.
• For still photography on camcorder, simply switch to flash mode, adjust to either S1 (Slave) or S2 (Preflash) and you are ready to take flash photography.
• Besides being able to work on camcorders, the flash mode on the VFL312 is also able to synchronize with compact digital cameras with preflash feature, prosumer digital cameras, DSLR cameras and analog SLR cameras.
• Recommended method for flash synchronization:
• DSLR cameras: Direct hotshoe contact (F1 setting).
• Digital camera with hotshoe: Direct hotshoe contact (S1 setting).
• Digital camera without preflash: S1 setting with bracket (included).
• Digital camera with preflash feature: S2 setting with bracket (included).
• Analog SLR cameras: Direct hotshoe contract (S1 setting)
