Most of these and other made in China green lasers do not have IR filters and thus can be hazardous to eyes without proper protective eye wear. By all means if you are unsure of what this means get the 5mW version for your safety.

I was amazed at the quality of this laser, just because it's not true doesn't mean it'll be rubbish. I had a clear visible beam that could even be seen in day light. The batteries don't last that long but just buy new ones when needed.

I've read previous "happy" feedbacks about this laser points and am wondering if people used some sort of power supply unit instead of 2 AAA batteries. This device consumes a lot of current and depletes/drains them in 5-7 minutes. Afterwards the operation becomes unpredictable with the beam of unsteady intensity or even no beam at all. The manufacturers should have designed this device to operate on AA batteries at least.

I have that exact product. I didn't buy from this site, but I sould have. It works alot, the heat time is low, and its economic on batteries. It can pop black balloons and cut electrical tape.. the beam is awesome, especially at night in the sky =) You looking for a green alser that worths the money? This is the one you should get!
