Pros - 3 modes are handy, as low mode is good for preserving battery life, and strobe is good for riding a bike at dusk in streetlit areas, but is few enough modes not to drive you mad looking for the mode you want. Can cycle through modes by half-pressing the switch without passing through "off" mode. Actually a well made P60 host. Very cheap. Brighter than my Magicshine bikelamp. Good flood with large bright hotspot. Small and light. Incredibly cheap for what you get.
Cons - I took mine apart and tightened many loose parts up before using mine. Also wrapped foil around reflector to make a thermal contact with the body to improve heatsinking. Not a perfectly smooth ring of light, and has a donut hole in middle of hotspot, although neither of these bothered me when using it as a bikelight. Relatively short battery runtime with a single 18650 when compared to a Magicshine with its 4x18650 battery powerpack.
Other thoughts - Draws 1.6amps at 4.2volts from a fully charged 18650 battery. Incredible for the money. As a bike light, could buy 3 of these with mounts, batteries and chargers for the price of a Magicshine.
