** Note: this 501B light has a slightly narrower barrel than our other Cree lights. Regular 18650 batteries seem to go in just fine but our Ultrafire Protected 18650 cell won't go in without force. You can try to force one in but the the blue plastic skin of the cell may peel and you might not be able to easily get it out. This applied to our protected 18650 cells only. The same problem with these cells does not occur with our other Cree lights.
